4 October 2015 #Tehran #ICH #Centre (#TICHCt) held a #Cultural #Night on the occasion of ‪#Mehregan in collaboration with #Yadegar_Bastan #Research #Centre (http://ift.tt/1l1H42L) and #Parzor_Foundation (www.unescoparzor.com) in order to #highlight and #revitalize #Mehregan as an #Intangible #Cultural #Heritage #element. At the beginning of this cultural night, Mr. Mehraban Firouzgari, a #Zoroastrian #priest (#mubad), intoned parts of #Mehr_Yasht and then Dr. Yadollah Parmoun, director of ‎TICHCt‬, welcomed guests. At this event there were a series of keynote speakers including Dr. Esfandiar Eftekhari, chairman of Yadegar-e Bastan Research Centre and Zoroastrian representative in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Dr. Esther Kuisch Laroche, Director of UNESCO Tehran Cluster Office (‪#‎UTCO‬), Mr. Yogeshwar Sangwan, representative of #Indian #Embassy in Tehran, Dr. Talebian #chairman of the #governing #council of Tehran ICH Centre. Mr. Firouzgari read the message of Dr Shernaz Cama, head of Parzor Foundation and finally Mrs. Farzaneh Goshtasb presented Mehregan ceremony and its history.
